Dryer can be divided into civil and industrial types. This paper mainly introduces the rotary dryer used in industry, which is also known as drum dryer. Rotary dryer is the most common drying equipment among mining equipment. It can be used as the first choice for drying the wet concentrate.
This machine is composed of a cylindrical structure. When it works, the motor drives the gears rotate, and then drive the rotary drum do circle rotary movement on the riding wheel. In the process of rotating, material moves slowly from top to bottom, and there are some lifting plates inside the rotary drum which makes the material move upward and spread downward in the process of moving downward to achieve the drying purpose.
1. Rotary dryer has large drying strength and high output in unit time.
2. Using air as heat source can avoid polluting the material.
3. Simple structure, small covering area, easy to build and repair.
The dryer can be used in many fields, and it can be used for drying many materials including the ore, food, Chinese herbal medicine, corn, slag, sawdust, compound fertilizer and so on.
