Impact crusher is of reasonable and compact structure, stable and reliable performance, easy operation and convenient maintenance and high efficiency. In order to ensure the impact crusher a good operating condition and to reduce downtime, operators should have a knowledge of the solutions to emergency troubleshooting of impact crusher.
1. If the equipment breaks down abruptly when running, stop first. Before the trouble is cleared, the machine is forbidden to start up. When there is a need to enter into the inside of the machine to have a check, make sure first to cut off the power supply and hang a signboard of overhaul. Clean up materials inside the machine before checking to prevent injuries to people. After repair, seal the upper cover and tighten the bolts before test run.
2. All the security devices must be complete and firm. When there is something wrong with the signal or communications equipment, don't boot the crusher. Once the electrical equipment goes wrong, it should be dealt with by technicians.
3. The lining plate fracture. The major causes for fracture are main engine overloaded and feedstock greater than the inlet size. The solution is to replace the lining plate and control the feeding size, avoiding overloading the main engine. Ensure that the lining plate of the crushing cavity is parallel with the pads and timely replace worn lining plate and pads.If there occurs spring breakage, it's most likely caused by users turning down the discharging gate without relaxing the spring.
4. The bearings emit heat. Possible reasons are lacking of oil or oil excessive, bearing damage, or the upper cover overwinding. The factors for discharging oversize may be hammers badly worn or the gap between the hammer and crusher too large, when we need to change new hammers or adjust the gap into the range of 15mm to 20mm.
