In general, the drum screen and linear vibrating screen all belong to seat-type installation, with part of linear vibrating screen requiring hanging installation. The leaning angle of the drum screen can be changed by adjusting the damping spring, in order to improve the screening accuracy or production capacity. The movement locus of drum screen is a straight line in the horizontal plane, and a circle or an ellipse in the vertical plane. Its vibrating form is called circular or elliptic vibration. Materials on the sieve service do parabolic movement forward, hereby to achieve the screening and classifying effect on materials.
The unique design of drum screen lies in the movable supporting spring. Compared with the fixed supporting, it is more applicable, security, convenient and reasonable. Circular or elliptic vibration occurs on the plane perpendicular to the spindle of vibration motor. Its form is determined by the relative position of the gravity centers of the vibration motor and complete machine.
