The mechanical equipment which completes the flotation process is called flotation cell, flotation machine or flotation tank. It is suitable for separating non-ferrous and ferrous metals such as copper, zinc, lead, nickel, gold, iron, manganese, chromium, as well as non metals such as coal, fluorite, talc, etc. The flotation machine can be divided into agitation flotation machine and mechanical flotation machine.
Flotation process refers to the process of selecting useful minerals according to the different physical and chemical properties of mineral surface. The flotation separation efficiency is relatively high, which can effectively select lean ore into the high grade concentrate to make full use of mineral resources.
1. Large inspiratory capacity, low energy consumption;
2. Horizontal layout, without foam pump;
3. The impeller has low circumferential velocity and long service life. The pulp can conduct double circulation according to a fixed mode, which is beneficial to the suspension of coarse mineral.
Flotation reagents are used to adjust and control the flotation process, and its main functions are as follows:
1.Strengthen the floatability difference, so that the minerals will be separated from each other, which is the same as the useful minerals and gangue.
2.Improve the speed and strength of useful mineral particles attach to the bubble.
3.Improve the formation conditions of small and dispersed bubbles in the pulp, and create the conditions for the formation of mineralized bubbles on the pulp surface.
