The Sequence for Ball Mill Start-up and Shutdown and Cautions

Only correct installation and appropriate use of ball mill can ensure its service life and quality.

Boot Sequence:

First to start the lubricating oil pump, and then start the ball mill when the hydraulic pressure reaches 1.5 to 2.0 kg/cm; Next to start the classifier. Don't begin to feed until the machines are running stably.

Shutdown sequence:

First to stop the feeder, and after the minerals inside the cylinder are finished, shut down the ball mill, motor and oil pump. Then pull the spiral out of the sand surface by virtue of the lifting device on the classifier, and proceed to stop the classifier.

Cautions in operation:

1. The bearing temperature should be not more than 50 ° C to 65 ° C;

2. The lubrication system oil temperature shall not exceed 40 ° c, and the tubing pressure should be 1.5 to 2.0 kg/cm;

3. Pay attention to the lubricating conditions of transmission devices such as gears, main bearing and reducer, and carefully observe the front and rear caps on the ball mill ends, cylinder, row ore box, overflow tank of the classifier sand return tank to see if there are any phenomena of oil blockage and sand leakage;

4. Closely notice the change of ore properties, and take proper measures timely according to the actual situation, for fear of unqualified grinding granularity and damage to equipment.
